Andrea Mares is a Board Assistant for Riverside County Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a graduate certificate in Public Policy from the University of Southern California. Prior to joining the Third District Team, she served as a WRCOG (Western Riverside Council of Governments) Fellow for the City of Banning's Community Development Department and interned for the California State Association of Counties in Sacramento.
Andrea is the department liaison for the Public Safety Portfolio (law enforcement agencies, public defender, district attorney, probation, fire, courts, emergency management) and the Office of Economic Development. She is also the community liaison for the City of Menifee and the unincorporated communities of French Valley, Winchester, Homeland, and Romoland.
