Applications Are Now Open! 

The Office of Supervisor Chuck Washington wishes to honor active-duty service members and veterans of the United States Armed Forces from across Riverside County all year long. As part of this ongoing tribute, each service member’s military photo, along with their name and branch of service, will be featured in a special recognition series.  Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see your loved one's photo!

All recognition forms must be submitted to the Third District office via email at [email protected].

Anza Power Support Program

In partnership with Anza Electric, we are making sure residents who depend on medical equipment are protected during power outages. If you are an Anza Electric customer and you rely on life support equipment, you may qualify for a temporary backup battery during outages. A doctor’s note is required to participate. For more information, please call (951) 763-4333.

District Road Improvements:

Pauba Road (Via Del Monte to Calle Contento )
To begin in Fall 2024. Construction is anticipated to take 9 months to complete; including time to complete relocation of facilities.

Skyview Pedestrian Bridge
Construction will begin in August 2024; anticipated to take 9-12 months.

Pourroy Road / Butterfield Stage Road
Intersection Improvements will begin in August 2024; construction is anticipated to take 4-5 months to complete due to time needed for concrete curing.

Stetson Avenue and Yale St. Traffic Signal Installation
Construction is anticipated in early 2025. The project is currently in the design phase.

Resurfacing Projects:

Johnston Avenue (San Jacinto Street to east of Stanford Street)
Currently under construction; anticipated to be completed by the end of March 2024.

Acacia Avenue (San Jacinto Street to east of New Chicago Avenue)
Currently in the design phase; anticipated to be completed by late 2024.

Thornton Avenue (Cornell Street to Soboba Road)
Currently in the design phase; anticipated to be completed by early 2025.
