Sundae Sayles


Legislative Assistant

Sundae is a Legislative Assistant for Riverside County Third District Supervisor, Chuck Washington. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude from California Baptist University. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Sundae started her public service with the federal government while working at the Library of Congress. Prior to starting her career with the County, Sundae worked for the Law Firm of Carney & Delany, LLP for nine years while maintaining a home-based business providing service to non-profit organizations. In 2008, she began her career with the County of Riverside and also served as liaison to the Riverside County Commission for Women. She joined the Third District Board of Supervisors staff in March 2015.

Her areas of responsibility include Housing and Workforce Solutions (Housing Authority, Board of Governance/CoC, Homeless issues, Community Action Partnership, Workforce Development), Department of Child Support Services, First 5, Veterans Services, back-up for RUHS (Public Health and Hospital), Youth Advisory Council, and the Temecula and Murrieta-Wildomar Chambers.
