Melissa graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a bachelor's degree in Political Science/Public Service and is pursuing an M.P.A. She is passionate about helping the County and the Third District constituents by assisting the Chief of Staff, Robyn Brock, in land use.
Her areas of responsibilities include Transportation & Land Management (Building & Safety, Code Enforcement, Planning and Transportation), Flood Control and Water Issues, Public Works (Animal Services, Environmental Health and Parks and Open Space District), Wine Country Plan, Cannabis, Waste Resources. She is the community liaison for the unincorporated areas of Anza, Aguanga and Sage.
