County Updates:

Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Survey

The County of Riverside is updating their Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) for the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The goal of Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) is to combat housing discrimination, eliminate racial bias, undo historic patterns of segregation, and lift barriers that restrict access in order to foster inclusive communities and achieve racial equity, fair housing choice, and opportunity for all Californians.

Fair housing outcomes would be locally driven based on the fair housing issues presented by local circumstances. Implementation of an Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) plan will greatly enhance equity, human dignity, social welfare, and justice for all protected class groups. Creating equitable access to affordable housing opportunities is crucial to the County’s vulnerable populations that have long been denied equal access in many aspects of their lives.

Your voice matters!  Please complete the survey below to help guide County determinations that address priority housing and housing issues. If you have questions, please reach out to Tina Roseberry at [email protected]
